On July 23rd, Nicholas turned 12. He was ordained to the Aaronic priesthood the Sunday after. His daddy gave him a great blessing to be a good leader to his friends and cousins. So far, he makes good choices and we're so proud! We do have to make him spit out his gum before passing the Sacrament though, cause the chomping takes away from the spirit!
There was lots of fishing done this summer and here's a little evidence of a good catch. Jake and Nick got to miss school and go fishing with their dad and grandpa. This was Jacob's first "real" fishing trip, he loved it!
We also installed the long awaited light at the Island Park property. Installing the pole was a little stressful, but it is up and working great.

I can't believe how old Nick is. And he's so tall!!! I just remember him being one of my favorite little cousins, but he ain't little anymore! Your kids are just all growing up so fast!!
fun summer! Jer is jealous of all the fishing that took place; he probably wishes he could have been there! He misses seeing you at EIRMC even though he pretended to be embarrassed of his Aunt Renae! Your new blog background looks good!
